The basics of our shade business
Shade structures come in many designs. Basically they are either
1/ Permanent or temporary in nature and
2/ Fabrics are waterproof PVC's for maximum weather protection, or shade cloth fabrics for shade protection.
Shade structures are used in so many applications such as alfresco additions to restaurant and hotels, to highlight a public space, to shade a playground, to protect students at school, as covers over industrial equipment and to add shade to a home or the family pool. Sails may also be semi-permanent in nature, such as event marquees, screens and tarpaulins.
Boundaries are to be challenged.
Abacus Shade Structures has a strong presence in this industry, an industry which has evolved from the use of natural fibres of jute and hemp to make coarsely woven canvas, clothing and rope. With today's freedom of design, advanced membrane fabrics and fabrication techniques, membrane fabrics and structures are at a new level of style, cost, application and aesthetics making them an excellent building choice.
Abacus Shade Structures operates from premises in Emu Plains, 50kms west of Sydney in a strong population and industrial growth region. We service Sydney and all Australia using excellent freeways and freight transportation networks.
