l

Licences

In NSW, the Department of Fair Trading requires shade structure installers to be licensed.  Abacus Shade Structures holds

Contractor Licence 55227C & Supervisor Licence 13626S.

A licence verifies qualifications and experience levels of contractors. NSW Consumer law stipulates minimum requirements for license holders, contracts terms, deposit, workmanship quality, materials and warranties. Ensuring your contractor is licenced provides peace of mind and legal protection.

Workplace Health & Safety

NSW State Government Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations apply on all building sites to protect workers and the public.

Excavation and working at heights are high risk construction operations which require compliance for safe operations.

Membership to our peak national body, The Specialised Textiles Association of Australia provides a knowledge base.  As an accredited member we work within  legal parameters, follow a professional code of conduct, are licenced and work to approved standards.

The company is registered with pre-qualification companies associated with Building Contractors and Government Procurement.
